Colonel William Weeks was the deputy head of the Jungle Patrol before Colonel Worubu. His grandson is also a member of the Jungle Patrol as Captain Weeks The Return of Colonel Weeks.

Fictional Character Biography
According to Lee Falk
Colonel Weeks was a longtime Colonel of the Jungle Patrol. The last story in witch Weeks appears as colonel is "The Rogue Elephant". In "Rex, the Missing Heir" the Patrol has a new commanding officer - Worubu, and in "The Trial of Patrolman Zokko" it's told that Weeks has retired.
While retired and spending lots of time growing roses in his garden, Weeks still continue to make appearances.
Colonel Weeks is the father of Caroline Weeks.
According to Team Fantomen
William Weeks was an Irish-born troublemaker who eventually found his way to Bengali in his youth. He joined the Jungle Patrol where he finally became Colonel. Colonel Weeks was married to the now deceased Janet O'Connor and they had a daughter, Caroline.
Behind the Scenes
In his first appearance in "The Jungle Patrol" , he was referred to as Colonel James. He was then unnamed in "The Super Apes" before the name Colonel Weeks was introduced in "The Master Spy".
