The founder of "Dečje Novine" was Srećko Jovanović. The first issue of "Dečje Novine" published under the tittle "Dečja Politika". Publishing house has been incredible progress and development of the eighties yeras of 20th century to the beginning of the nineties, with the outbreak of war in Yugoslavia and the disintegration of the state, failed completely.
