Ernesto Garcia Seijas is an Argentine cover artist and was born in Ramos Mejía, Buenos Aires.

He began his career in 1957 for Fascination Editorial in the review Totem before working for various comics magazines with such series as Kit Colt, Tom della prateria, Leon Loco. From 1958 to 1968, he worked for the magazine Bucaneros, el gigante de la historieta.

Born Ernesto Garcia, he added his mother’s name Seijas at the end of the fifties, in order to be not confused with another artist also named Garcia who previously drew the same comics series he had just taken over, namely Bill y Boss.

In the early sixties, he worked on drawing adaptations of movies and television series for Columba Editorial and drew many covers for the Colección Robin Hood series and complementarily he made some covers of the Phantom series published by Editorial Edmal.

He later worked on comics series El Negro Blanco and Flopi. He later collaborated with the staff creators of the Italian western comics Tex Willer, published by Sergio Bonelli Editore.

Many of his works have been published in Europe, especially in Spain and Italy.
