L'âge d'or – Le Fantôme

L'âge d'or – Le Fantôme (The Golden Age – The Phantom), was a series of four large volumes publisehd by Editions des Remparts. It was a French version of a similar series previously printed in Italy by Fratelli Spada under the title L'epoca d'oro di Phantom.
These albums were in fact collections of the eight-page Sunday page supplements originally published in 60 issues of Le Fantôme (#387 to #446).
A total of 468 Sunday pages (9 years worth of stories) were reprinted:
- L'âge d'or – Le Fantôme #1: Sunday pages from May 1939 to February 1941
- L'âge d'or – Le Fantôme #2: Sunday pages from March 1941 to April 1943
- L'âge d'or – Le Fantôme #3: Sunday pages from April 1943 to June 1945
- L'âge d'or – Le Fantôme #4: Sunday pages from July 1945 to May 1948.
The chronological reprints of Sunday stories continued in Le Fantôme, but in smaller format and not as supplements but as part of the actual comic book.
