Layla Bess (born Layla Gauraz) is a French comics creator.

Biography
In the 1980's, she wrote the script for three Phantom stories drawn by her future husband, Georges Bess. This made her the first woman ever to create a Phantom story.
In 2000, she created the comic "Leela et Krishna" with her husband Georges.
