Fictional Character Biography
According to the newspaper strip
Rosamunda was a niece of William Shakespeare. Lee Falk originally claimed that she was married to the 3rd Phantom[citation needed], but later claimed that he was married to Princess Pura. The Third Phantom After that, it appears as if he reversed to that it was the 3rd Phantom who married Rosamunda.[citation needed]
According to Team Fantomen
Rosamunda married the 3rd Phantom before he became the Phantom and was poisoned on stage by accident after she had given birth to the future 4th Phantom. Her murder came to make her husband seek revenge and when he heard that his father was dying, he decided to swear the Oath of the Phantom after all and become the Phantom. Minute of the Pale Death
Approximately 30 years after her death, she had a brother living in London with a servant named Kobald.[citation needed]
