Plot summary
President Luaga introduces Mr. Walker to world heavyweight boxing champion "Typhoon" Turner, who is shown to be a real bully. During a safari in the jungle, "Typhoon" runs into The Phantom, who challenges him to a boxing fight. After an even match, The Phantom beats the champion, learning him a lesson not to be rude to other people.
A couple of months later, "Typhoon" returns to Bangalla, donating money to charity, as well as funding the first Bangalla Olympic games team. When once again meeting Mr. Walker, "Typhoon" sees the similarities between him and The Phantom, but is left wondering if he'll ever meet Him again.

Trivia
- Jim Shepherd is known to be a big sports fan, and his first Phantom story deals with a sport theme - boxing.
- An American journalist is referring to Morristown as being located "somewhere in South East Asia... or thereabouts..."
- Mike "Typhoon" Turner is, both in name and appearance, an obvious reference to Mike Tyson, real-life boxer and legendary boxing heavyweight champion, who lost the title on February 11, 1990, only a couple of weeks prior to the release of "Rumble in the Jungle".
