Sir James Stanbury was governor of Jamaica in 1717 and the father of Flame Stanbury, who married the 9th Phantom, all according to Team Fantomen.

- The real governor of Jamaica at the time that Stanbury was supposed to be governor was Peter Heywood, who was governor 1716-1718. It is possible that in the fictional Phantom universe, Stanbury was governor for the same period as our Heywood.
