Terry Beatty (born in 1958) is an American Cartoonist, illustrator, and comic book artist, mainly known for his works on the DC Comics series The Batman Strikes!.
Terry is the artist and co-creator (with Max Allan Collins) of the long-running private eye series " Ms.Tree", and collaborations with Collins also include "Mike Mist", "Mickey Spillane's Mike Danger", "Johnny Dynamite" and "Return to Perdition".
Beatty's cover paintings appear regularly on Scary Monsters magazine, as well as its spin-off Monster Memories annual.
After Barreto's death in December 2011, Beatty was informed by colorist Tom Smith that KFS was looking for a replacement. Beatty auditioned and was selected to be the new Phantom Sunday artist. His first Phantom Sunday page was published on January 29, 2012.
