Fictional Character Biography

According to Team Fantomen

He was born in 1738 or 1739 to the 10th Phantom and Marianne.

In 1750 or 1751, he was serving aboard a ship when a mutiny broke out. It took more than a half year before his father, the 10th Phantom, got any message of what had happened to his son and could go to rescue him.

The 11th Phantom swear the Oath of the Skull, despite the fact that the 10th Phantom is not dying.

In 1757, the 10th Phantom lost his right arm and was severly injured in his face during a duel with the Singh leader Ashar Singh. As his father was unable to continue as the Phantom, the 11th Phantom had to swear the Oath of the Skull.

A little less than one year later, the 10th Phantom faced Ashar Singh to finish their duel and both died. As the 10th Phantom had alerted the 11th Phantom and his wife Marianne to the duel, they saw everything. The 10th Phantom handed over the Skull Ring to his son and recognized that he now was the Phantom before he died in the arms of his wife.

The 11th Phantom married a Venetian woman named Renata di Mascarelli. Her father was Claudio di Mascarelli, an influential man in Venice.

In 1775, his wife Renata was killed in Venice in a plot initiated by the Singh leader Korshir Singh.

His endgame with Korshir Singh ended with his own death.

According to Lee Falk

The 11th Phantom has only been mentioned in "The Heirs", where he is said to have married a Maharajah's daughter, without her father's blessing, and in "Captain Amazon - Pirate Queen", where it's said that he ran off with an Indian maiden.

According to Moonstone

The 11th Phantom is said to be active in 1782, and then have become deserted by his wife because he had "grown more devoted to vengeance than [his] family". He is also said to have lost an eye by then.

According to Bastei

The 11th Phantom was born in 1825, succeeded his father in 1850 and died in 1881.
