Fictional Character Biography
According to Team Fantomen
The 19th Phantom was born 1890 and took over as Phantom in 1908. He is considered to be the strongest Phantom ever.1
Sometimes around 1908-1909 he met Jane Cary, the sister of a Dr. Bart Cary, who had saved his life. He asked her to marry him and she gave the appropriate answer that he had to ask her brother. Her brother refused and tried to force her to leave Bangalla, the 19th Phantom then abducted her, with her approval. In 1910, dr Bart Cary was abducted to the Skull Cave to watch his sisters wedding, while himself tied with ropes. After then losing his hospital in a fire, dr Bart Cary leaved Bangalla to never return.
1912, the son Kit was born, the future 20th Phantom.
In 1935, the 19th Phantom was killed by his archenemy Rachamond and his son succeeded him as the Phantom.

"The Heirs" and "Captain Amazon - Pirate Queen" says that the 19th Phantom married an unnamed South American explorer's daughter. The story of Jane Cary, as told above, has been attributed to both the 19th and the 18th Phantom.
In "The Rope People" he is said to be the first of the Phantom line to encounter the Rope People, and in "Raiders of the Eastern Dark" it's said that he banned guns from the jungle.
He died after falling from the Phantom Head Peak ("The Beasts of Phantom Head Peak").
