The 2nd Phantom is one of the Phantoms.
Fictional Character Biography
According to Team Fantomen
It was probably the second Phantom who made Walker's Table a home of the Phantom by making a Spainiard king give it to him. His father had never visited the place but instead heard his father talk about it, and from the stories, the 2nd Phantom managed to find and visit it.
The 2nd Phantom is also said to have a short temper and was a little bit short of patience.1
In 1565 he participated in the defense of Malta together with his father against the turkish sultan Suleiman and witnessed as his father was badly wounded but survived. He and his father then returned to Bangalla but the means of traveling were not so advanced in those days so they returned to the Skull Cave first in February 1566, by then the 1st Phantom's powers were finished and he died in the Skull Cave shortly after that the 2nd Phantom, 18 years old at the time, had sworn the Oath of the Phantom and thereby taken up the mantle and becoming the 2nd Phantom.
In 1569, he met the love of his life in Italy. She was named Felicia, but unfortunately, she was tragically killed when she destroyed the plans of a battle wagon that could be used for evil purposes. The 2nd Phantom appears to have remained unmarried for a very long time after that loss, having a son first in 1586, around 17 years later, and then probably having married a year or so earlier (as things tends to be in the Phantom family).
In the last years of his very long life (compared to other Phantoms), he found out that his son had left school and joined Shakespeare in order to become an actor. Enraged, the 2nd Phantom left Bangalla and went to London, where he saw his son acting as Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet", the scene probably made him explode, though that is not explicitly stated in his chronicle. 1
He tried to bring his son back but the son refused and told his father to let the tradition end with him. The 2nd Phantom then became totally silent, then turned around and travelled back to Bangalla. Later, he came to be mortally wounded, the ring was then sent to his son, carried by Duran, the chief of the Bandars. His son, then accepted the ring and went back to Bangalla, just in time to swear the Oath of the Phantom, before the 2nd Phantom died.
According to Lee Falk
The 2nd Phantom was the first Phantom to visit Walker's Table. Most probably, it was he who gained the ownership of Walker's Table from a spanish king in the 16th century.
The second Phantom helped the Oongaan tribe defend their sacred burial ground.
He travelled to London in 1602 to meet his son who tells his father that he won't become the next Phantom. He is later killed by Barbary pirates, and his son changes his mind, and becomes the 3rd Phantom.
According to Moonstone
In the late 16th century, the 2nd Phantom encountered the Singh Brotherhood and The Singh Web, their most valuable treasure.
According to Bastei
The second Phantom was born in 1549, became Phantom in 1571 and died in 1610.
