The 8th Phantom is one of the Phantoms.
Fictional Character Biography
According to Team Fantomen
Before he became the Phantom, he went to Sweden to study. There he met Lady Ingrid of Holstein in 1699 and fell in love. The Swedish King Charles XII , however, did not think him worthy of such a noble lady and forbade him such an arrangement. However, the future 8th Phantom proved himself worthy during a bear hunt where he saved the King's life. Shortly thereafter, he got a message that it was time for him to swear the Oath of the Skull. Back in Bangalla, he witnessed a ship sinking and managed to save only one person from it – his beloved Ingrid.
According to Lee Falk
The 8th Phantom was the tallest of the Phantoms and had four sons, Kit-One, Kit-Two, Kit-Three, (triplets, born in 1703) and Kit-Four, born in 1704 ("The Fourth Son").
He met the queen and supposed witch Heloise of Koqania ("The Hanta Witch"), whom he later married, in either 1685 ("The Name") or 1675 ("The Return of General Bababu"). In "The Fourth Son" he is married to an unnamed Englishwoman.
"The Fourth Son" also depicts the 8th Phantom dying in 1726, after being shot in the back by Mongol warriors. Contradictory, in "The Snake Goddess" he is said having died from a snake bite after building a secret path through the Great Swamp. The path was built by putting rocks one foot under the water surface and then letting thorns and other plants keep hostile swamp animals away.
He was succeeded by Kit-Four, who was the only one of his sons to be present at his deathbed.
According to Moonstone
The 8th Phantom has yet to be mentioned in the Moonstone stories.
According to Bastei
The 8th Phantom was born in 1734, succeeded his father in 1754 and died in 1787.
In 1760, he was in a relationship with a woman named Anna, although she did not know that he was the Phantom. The relationship ended when she flirted with a man named Renato because she thought Kit Walker was a weakling. As the Phantom, he defeated Renato who was a masked highway robber, which Anna also was unaware of.
