Walmir Amaral de Oliveira (sometimes just Walmir Amaral) is a Brazilian artist.
At the early age of 17, he began his professional activity for RGE (Rio Graphical Editor) where he mainly draw covers, but in the sixties and when unpublished American production was no longer sufficient for the number of Brazilian issues, he even drawn (and apparently wrote) some Phantom stories.
His other best known work was for the "O Cavaleiro Negro" comics, Brazilian version of the American "Black Rider". He also has drawn "Zorro" for RGE in the seventies. He sometimes just signed "Walmir" for RGE publications and "Amaral" for Saber publications.
