Romano Felmang (born in 1941) is a pen name for an Italian artist who also has been credited as Я. Felmang, Roy Mann, Roymann or Fermang (when working with Germano Ferri).
Biography
1967-1969, Felmang drew Phantom stories for Fratelli Spada. Since 1987 he is a part of Team Fantomen. Generally Felmang leaves the inking of his stories to other artists, e.g. Germano Ferri, Umberto Sammarini, Claudio Waldrag, and Anthony Benny. When Felmang and Ferri have collaborated on equal terms, and the latter hasn't done only the inking, they have signed their stories as Fermang.
Felmang has also provided Phantom covers for the Australian Phantom magazine published by Frew, and the American Comics Revue magazine.
Since 1997, he has contributed to covers for Fantomen. Although he is usually uncredited when the cover goes to print, all Fantomen covers painted by Italian artists since then are based on original pencil sketches by Felmang.
